Fast-rising Afrobeats and Afro Pop Singer/Songwriter MIMI as she joins forces with burgeoning producer and long-term collaborator O.Y to create the massive new single titled “Over You”. Laced with heavy synths, lush drum kicks and an infectiously catchy hook, “Over You” is a defiant ladies anthem for 2012 which sees Mimi putting her cheating partner in their place once and for all in sublime fashion as she completely owns this Afrobeats and Afro Pop genre-fusing musical milieu with her sultry vocals, sexy harmonies and excellently written lyrics.
For as long as she can remember, emerging Afrobeats and Afro Pop Singer/Songwriter Mimi has always been very passionate about her music and has sung since the tender age of 12. bludgeoned and nurtured in Church, Mimi’s singing talents and dexterities shown all through her teenage years and are bursting at the seams, ready to unveiled to the world. Describing her music as having a strong personality that excellently expresses and highlights her interesting emotions, Mimi – who loves making music and the pleasure that her music brings to others – cannot wait to show herself musically to all who will listen.
In 2011, Mimi released her first single, the O.Y-produced “An Angel” which was superbly followed up by the smashing Afrobeats single “You Make Me Wanna”. As she continues to carve a lane for herself in the Afrobeats music landscape, Mimi has come to realize that music was and is where her heart belongs. Fast forward to 2012 and Mimi’s singing skills and music style continue to evolve and develop and although music has been a part of her life for a long time, her passion for music is ever more alive and kicking in 2012.

This month’s “DJ Klem Presents” is a special one. It’s the first official “duet” in the series and features two extremely talented singers/songwriters Eli Rosse and Casey Kerry on the emotional mid-tempo jam “Ordinary People”. DJ Klem produces and co-writes with them on this one as usual.

Eli Rosse (Elizabeth Omada André Rossevelt Agom,17) is a young talented soul singer with an amazing voice. She started her music hustle at the age of 15 and she has not failed to deliver where the need be. Eli is also the C.E.O of The Regina sickle cell foundation and the Eli Reine Project which is yet to be released but will take effect 2013.

She is joined on the song by rising star Casey Kerry who is part of DJ Klem’s in-house song writing team and has writing and vocal credits on
a number of songs including Mocheddah’s “X & O”. He’s currently working on an exciting project called “Project 10″

David Etete aka P.R.E which stands for Pretty Rude Entertaining hails from Bayelsa and has been a force in the underground music scene for a number of years. He originally started out in the group Twisted Minds but has recently
decided to up the ante with a solo project, joining forces with music powerhouse, Knighthouse.

His music is a blend of Hip-Hop, Afro Pop and Dance music. The talented artist has been working hard on his new project, with songs and videos in the works being recorded and shot in P.H, Lagos, South Africa and London. Tatashe and Bad Oh are the first offerings from his table.
